Blood test centre
As of this month, there will be three phlebotomists on site at all times in Wanstead Hospital's blood testing centre.
It follows concerns over waiting times expressed by patient representatives at a recent meeting of Redbridge Council's Health Scrutiny Committee.
"It is very important that they [NHS] have taken patient concerns on board and I look forward to seeing a smoother service for local residents in need of blood tests in the future," said Wanstead Village councillor Daniel Morgan-Thomas.
