Valentines Mansion artist to demonstrate portrait painting

Essex Art Club will be hosting a demonstration on portrait painting at Wanstead House this month.
"Over the years, I have used friends and family as models... I love capturing not just someone's physical likeness, but also something of their character, personality and spirit," said Jason Rose, who began as a child by drawing portraits of customers in his father's hairdressing salon and now has a studio in Valentines Mansion.
The demonstration will take place on 27 January from 2.30pm (visitors: £5).
